Electronic VAT Payments

Many businesses have found it difficult to keep up with the increasing complexities of VAT. Yet businesses are expected to keep up to date with new legislation and understand its application to their business.

The latest challenge is the requirement for on-line filing from 1 April 2010. Electronic payment of VAT liabilities will also be required.

This affects all new VAT registrations from 1 April 2010 and existing registrations where annual ex VAT turnover was £100,000 or more on 31 December 2009.
