 Ruth studied at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where she obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Economics and Accounting & Finance in 1999.
She then worked for Ernst & Young for three years in their Birmingham office, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. During this time she worked in the audit department working primarily on manufacturing and retail clients.
Ruth joined DRE & Co in November 2002 as audit manager, responsible for overseeing the audit and accounts preparation for the firms corporate clients and is based at the Shrewsbury office.
Whilst focusing particularly on the auditing and accounts preparation, her work at DRE & Co also involves dealing with the taxation affairs of corporate clients.
In 2003 Ruth studied for and passed the FPC exams of the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
