Fiona Wilkinson

A law graduate of Aberdeen University, Fiona’s tax career spans twenty years.

She joined the Inland Revenue in 1988 and since then has worked for Price Waterhouse, Moore Stephens and Dean Statham as well as running her own business.

As a personal tax specialist, Fiona has dealt with the tax affairs of all types of sole traders, partnerships and private clients and while at Dean Statham she was particularly involved in the taxation issues surrounding farming.

Having passed the examinations of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 1992 and those of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1994, Fiona tried life on the other side of the classroom when she joined BPP Professional Education as a tax and law tutor in 2007. The lure of “real tax”, however, was too strong and Fiona joined DRE in 2008.

As Head of Tax with DRE, Fiona is based at the Shrewsbury office and oversees the personal and corporate tax services offered there. Fiona also supports the partners and provides tax consultancy for all DRE clients as required. Fiona is delighted to be back in practice offering clients constructive and practical tax advice.
